PRECAST SHAPE
Precast refractory shapes are custom designed and made in our state of the art workshops under well controlled conditions to give uniformity of size as well as the optimum properties for the most cost effective performance in service. The casting and curing operation is carried out by experienced personnel under our strict quality assurance system to provide blocks of uniformly high quality which will usually outperform monolithic refractories placed in the furnace under site conditions. The blocks are pre-fired, packed and shipped to site for easy assembly. The installation time on site will normally be half of that required to cast in place. Drying out and heating up time will also be reduced while performance will be much improved.
DuraKast Precast Shapes
DuraKast™ is featured with strengthened internal structure and combined metal-refractory material. It has merged the benefits of metallic and refractory materials, boasting high strength, exceptional resistance to thermal shock and severe mechanical abuse. Due to its high workability, DuraKast™ is the ideal material for aluminum smelter structure, such as doorframe and nose ring system for rotary kiln.
