In 2018, NCR introduced a new line of IFB based on the eco-friendly raw materials and energy improve process, which revolutionized the IFB manufacturing method! This was a significant decision from the management as the industry standard to produce IFB is based on PP Ball and Gypsum, which are widely used raw materials but they are not environment friendly! As we moved away from the traditional production methods and raw materials, NCR invested million dollars in new technologies and equipment! NCR is focusing on reaching the net zero carbon emission goals, and we are proud to be the first company producing an ECO friendly IFB and setting the standards for the industry!
Typical Application
IFB is used in number of industries from ceramic to steel mills! It is typically recommended for use as a primary hot-face refractory lining or back-up insulation behind other refractories in furnaces, kilns, flues, refining vessels and heaters, regenerators, carburetors and tunnels, soaking pits, annealing furnaces, reactor chambers and other industrial thermal process equipment.
ASTM standard
Insulite™ brand of products are manufactured according to the ASTM standards with classification temperature ranging from 1100℃ to 1650℃. NCR can also engineer products to meet specific applications requirement. Please contact our office for more information!
