Alumina-Silicon Bricks
High Alumina Brick/Fireclay Brick
High strength fireclay brick is made of flint clay and clay. It has been widely used in bosh of blast furnace and regenerator of hot blast stove and coke oven due to excellent thermal shock resistance and wear resistance.
Low expansion and spall resistant high alumina brick is used in upper part of upper transition zone of kiln lining thanks to its excellent thermal shock resistance, high strength, corrosion resistance and spall resistance. Now it has been widely used in dry process cement production, torpedo car and foundry industry.
In addition to standard high alumina brick, we can also provide special abrasion resistance high alumina brick. It features high strength at elevated temperatures and resistance to abrasion and thermal shock. This family of products exhibit excellent property against molten metal penetration thus it’s most commonly used in melting furnace bottom.
Corundum Based Brick
Corundum brick is a high purity corundum based brick with superior hot strength. It has been widely used for its excellent resistance against penetration and corrosion by molten slags and other fluxes to give longer campaign life in channel induction furnaces of the iron foundry.
Alumina-Chrome Bricks
For Copper Industry:
NCR has also designed a line of alumina-chrome products that possess low permeabilities, low porosity and high thermal conductivities for use in high wear areas such as the copper anode furnace. The bricks possess excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature properties.
For Glass Industry:
Alumina Chrome checker is a material with excellent resistance to chemical corrosion and wearing. Featured with spinel structure, it is also very stable during temperature tide. It suits for increasing requirements better in glass furnace regenerators since the modern furnace is getting bigger and bigger.

Pro-Line™ ZM20 is a ceramic bonded Al2O3-ZrO2 brick. By using special forming method and firing at higher temperature, it offers higher strength, better wear resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and thermal shock stability.
